Therapy Modalities: EMDR, CBT, DBT, ACT, Seeking Safety & Solution Focused Therapy

Working with us feels like having a steady companion on your journey—someone who’s there to listen deeply and lift up your strengths, even when you can’t see them yourself. Clients often say it’s a mix of comfort and gentle challenge. You’ll feel heard and understood, with space to explore what’s heavy—like depression, anxiety, or old trauma—without feeling pushed.

We pull from a mix of tools—we lean on a strength-based lens, so we’ll look at what you’re already doing well—even if it’s small, like showing up here today. That’s a foundation we build on. If your mind’s tangled up—like with depression or anxiety—we might use cognitive therapy to spot thoughts that trip you up and set a goal to shift them gently, like turning ‘I can’t do this’ into ‘I’ll try one piece.’ For big emotions or trauma, DBT might help us aim for something practical—like riding out a tough moment without it swallowing you whole. And with ACT, we might set a goal around accepting what’s hard while moving toward what you value—like connection or peace.

It’s flexible and tailored to you. You’re in the driver’s seat; We’re just here with the map, cheering you on.
